Measurement conditions

The pH values of cleansers shown on this site were measured under the following conditions.

  • Instrument: HORIBA LAQUAtwin pH-22
  • Calibration: 3-point calibration with pH 4.01 / 6.86 / 9.18 standard solutions on the day of measurement
  • Sample: Products were measured as-is without dilution. Solid products (e.g. bar soap) and powder products were measured as 10× dilutions in RO water
  • Temperature: 22 ± 5 °C
  • Method: Sample was applied to the electrode and the value was recorded when stable (diluted samples were homogenized before measurement)
  • Replicates: Measured 3 times and the average was calculated

Values may vary due to lot differences and measurement conditions. The pH values on this site are reference values obtained under the above conditions and do not guarantee product specifications or manufacturer-reported values.
